BI Consulting Group (BICG) selected as Oracle Pillar Partner.

BI Consulting Group has been selected by Oracle Corporation as a Business Intelligence (BI) Pillar Partner for the North Central US region.

This recognition is part of the "Partner Sales Readiness Verification Initiative" announced by Oracle. The initiative was developed to identify partners in North America with proven expertise in strategic technology areas such as Business Intelligence, Identity Management and Fusion Middleware.

Oracle will nominate and select 1 or 2 partners for each region which must then pass stringent competency requirements within the designated pillar technology. Oracle has designed this program to further collaborate with partners and drive revenue based on specialization within the market.

BICG Honored as BI/EPM Implementation Partner of the Year from Oracle

BI Consulting Group (BICG) was the sole winner of the Oracle BI/EPM Implementation Partner of the Year Award.

Formerly known as the Oracle Excellence Award, this is the 2nd consecutive year BICG has won this honor. In 2009, the award has been renamed to the Oracle BI/EPM Innovation Award (which honors customers and partners who are creatively using Oracle Enterprise Performance Management and/or Oracle Business Intelligence to optimize enterprise-wide performance).

VendorRate Best in Class - Top Consulting Services Vendor

BI Consulting Group has been singled out as the #1 rated consulting organization in the Q2 2009 VendorRate Report. BI Consulting Group's high score of 92 was unsurpassed by any other organization. VendorRate "Top Notches" were awarded to BICG for Effectiveness, Recommendability, Integrity, Usability, Customer Service and Expertise.

VendorRate provides ratings given by IT professionals with the intent of helping organizations make better decisions prior to selecting an IT vendor for products or services. More than 1500 IT professionals contributed to this report by rating 347 hardware, software, telecom and service vendors.

Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Young Entrepreneur Award

BI Consulting Group President and Founder, Amy Mayer, has been identified as a rising star in the Twin Cities business community and selected as a 2009 honoree.

The Business Journal editors select honorees based a combination of factors including the personal stories of the entrepreneurs, the role that the person has played helping his or her company grow, and the prospects for future company growth.

Oracle Excellence Award

Oracle Corporation honored BI Consulting Group with a 2008 Oracle Excellence Award. The global award recognizes customers and partners for innovative deployments of Oracle Fusion Middleware with Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, JD Edwards etc) to create innovative and standards-based technology solutions. The award is sponsored by OAUG, Quest International Users Group, IOUG, ODTUG, UKOUG, and AUSOUG with members from each user group comprising the selection committee. Nearly 140 nominations were submitted.

BI Consulting Group was selected by the commitee for the collective excellence displayed on projects for Equinix, Giant Eagle, Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), Los Alamos National Laboratory, and the University at Buffalo.

ALCOA YES! Award -- Outstanding Achievement

The YES! award is presented in recognition of outstanding achievements within ALCOA. BI Consulting Group was presented the award for the successful design, development, and deployment of ALCOA's HR Analytics reporting solution.

BICG was recognized for the extraordinary efforts displayed during ALCOA's first deployment of a Business Intelligence solution using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). This award represents the milestone first step toward developing an HR global data warehouse inside ALCOA.

Oracle "Above & Beyond" Award -- Business Intelligence

The Oracle Partner Awards are awarded to a partner recognized as the leader in providing Oracle-based solutions and business practices. These awards recognize partner excellence in a number of categories, including sales, marketing, and solution development.
